The Knot Event

Kohana Skin enjoyed the privilege of participating in the The Knot's Annual Networking Event on June 22, 2011. This fabulous event was held at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles! It was was attended by 300 wedding event planners who enjoyed and incredible venue, fabulous food, and the opportunity to hear Carley Roney the co-founder and editor of The Knot speak.

Cure in the Canyons

Kohana Skin was delighted to participate in the Cure In The Canyons IV event in Beverly Hills, California. Kohana Skin participated in the event by donating100 of our organic Wild Ginger Tropical Moisture Cremes for the gift bags. The Cure In The Canyon IV was attended by celebrities and guests who enjoyed luxury epicurean delights, lifestyle, wellness, beauty and more to support the cause. Among the guests were also cancer survivors. This event raises funds which support local California research at USC/Norris Lee Breast Center, USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, Michael Press, MD. PhD. and National Researchers. Grants are awarded by the Medical Advisory Board to have the most significance in the etiology, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of breast cancer. The sole purpose of The Benson Breast Cancer Foundation is to raise funds for innovative Medical and Clinical Research.
The Angel Gala
Marguerite Marsh, Ph.D., and a founder of the organization created the Angel Gala in 1992, as a way to celebrate The Wellness Community-Foothills and to recognize individuals and organizations instrumental to its success. This event includes Angel Awards, entertainment, and silent and live auctions. It is the major annual fundraising event for The Wellness Community-Foothills.
Approximately 300 guests attend this celebration, including medical, business and community leaders, program participants, volunteers and friends.
On Saturday, May 1, 2010, The Wellness Community-Foothills will host its 18th Annual Angel Gala at the Pasadena Convention Center. This prestigious event will feature a reception and silent auction followed by dinner and an exciting live auction. The funds raised by the Annual Angel Gala are a significant source of revenue for their programs which help provide support, education, and perhaps most importantly—hope for people living with cancer- men, women, teens, and children- along with their families and friends. Kohana Skin is proud to participate in this event by donating products to the silent auction.
